Prayers from God's people
Dear LORD GOD, we pray for the people in China, all Your loved ones that suffer so much! We pray that You will make Your people invisible and protect them with hosts of angels, surround them with fire and with make them strong in mind, body and spirit. You are there and You love them so much! Please give them many miracles as testimonies and fill their hearts with joy, peace and love. Thank You in the Name of JESUS! Amen!
Psalm 17 - In the Shadow of Your wings - A prayer of David
Hear a just cause, O LORD; attend to my cry! Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit! From Your presence let my vindication come! Let Your eyes behold the right! You have tried my heart, You have visited me by night. You have tested me, and You will find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress. With regard to the works of man, by the word of Your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent. My steps have held fast to Your paths; my feet have not slipped.
I call upon You, for You will answer me, O GOD; incline Your ear to me; hear my words. Wondrously show Your steadfast love, o Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at Your right hand. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings, from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me. They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly. They have now surrounded our steps; they set their eyes to cast us to the ground. He is like a lion eager to tear, as a young lion lurking in ambush.
Arise O LORD! Confront him, subdue him! Deliver my soul from the wicked by Your sword, from men by Your hand, O LORD, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You will their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants. As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with Your likeness.
Praying for Umida's children. That God would hold them in the palms of His mighty Hands. May He directs their little hearts to Him.
May, if it is His glorious will, reach out and call her husband's heart so that he may realize the seriousness of his lost soul. May he repent from his sins and turn to the Only One who can bring true and lasting peace to his heart.
May God uphold Umida's parents. May He assure them that she know stands in His glorious presence. May them be strong witnesses to her children.
May God's glory be revealed in this very unfortunate event. My heart goes out to this family and those poor little children.
I Prayed for the following today:
Continue to lift up the many Christians imprisoned in China for their faith. Pray that concerned family members will receive greatly needed news of their detained loved ones. Ask the Lord to strengthen and encourage each of these separated families. Likewise, may those who are imprisoned also be able to rest in the knowledge that their family members at home are in the hands of a loving God.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to Pastor Tun Nu and other Christians who were killed in Burma because of their faith in God. I pray that the Holy Spirit will give comfort to their families at this time of grief, remembering that the work of the Holy Spirit will continue for the Glory to God. We pray that the ministry will become stronger and that many of the ones oppressing the Christian will see that they as well need a Savior. As Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and not one can come to the Father except through me. I would like to pray for us back home as well for strength from our brothers and sisters in Christ for the strength that they had to be our strength as well. Luke 6:22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Love in Christ
The underground church in Iran.
May our Lord protect our brothers and sisters who are meeting regulary for prayers and fellowship in this highly monitored country.
I pray for their embolding actions to witness to their relatives especially for distributing tracts that are smuggled from neighbouring countries.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you and praise you we have the privilege of being your children. I lift our brothers and sisters to you today that are suffering for your name. May they sense your close presence giving strength hope and peace. We know you can provide all they need. Please bring them healing and the ability to forgive. Please provide for them and their families. May they shine light bright lights for you, and may many come to know you because of their witness. We pray in Jesus name, amen.
Abba, shut down the gates of hell operating in China's government may they not continue to prevail against Your people. You said through Elisha, the prophet, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them, in 2 Kings 6:16. Just as Elisha asked You to open the eyes of his servant that he may see that I'm asking that You open the eyes of the Chinese officials that are persecuting Your people that they are surrounded by the angelic army in the heavens. May the fear of the LORD come back to them so they stop their evil ways. Also, open the eyes of Your people that may see they are fully protected since Your kingdom rules in the heavens over other kings and kingdoms. We don't call You the King of kings and Lord of lords for nothing, in Jesus name, Amen!
Abba, Thank You for cracking down on the Iranian government for how they are listening to the enemy and cracking down on Your people. Thank You for shutting down these gates of hell in Iran attempting to prevail against Your people. You said in the Word there is more with us than it is with Your adversary the devil. Thank You for the weapons of our warfare that are mightier than the enemy's to demolish and destroy the works of the enemy operating in the Iranian government. Give many of the leaders and officials in high places dreams and visions like You gave to [Constantine] which caused him to become a Christian giving Your people favor with him. Do the same for the Iranian Christians, in Jesus name, Amen!
Thank You for delivering Ebtehaj from the wicked doers that that think they have You on their side to do all the evil they have done to her and her family. Thank You for healing her heart from all the trauma and suffering she has received from her persecutors. Please shut down the gates of hell opened against so that they will not prevail against her. May she be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove when she is among the wolves, these false prophets. Give wisdom beyond her years in order to outsmart them so that she will not be raped, pillaged, and beaten anymore. I pray that You give her persecutors a revelation about You that You are her protector. Thank You that You are more with her than her adversaries coming against her. So don't let her be afraid anymore but bold as a lion, in Jesus name, Amen!
Dear Heavenly Father. For all your children facing persecution in this fallen world. When the darkness is greatest, the light shines the brightest. Father let you light shine brightly through Your Chosen Ones. Let them live in the light of your eternal Love & Peace, which only You can bring. May your abiding presence sustain them through the darkness! In the name of Yeshua!
Dear Lord Jesus,
I pray for Sudanese converts to Christ, and more specifically for Ebtehaj. Please give them the same courage that you gave to your servants Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego, who when ordered to bow down to false gods said, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” (Daniel 3:16-18)
Help them to know that they are in your hands, whatever happens. Enable them to stand firm and say with your servant Paul, "I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace." (Acts 20:24)
In Jesus' powerful name,

I would like to take all of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ and lift them up to the Lord at this time as there is so much persecution going on all around the world for evil to thwart God's Word from getting out as the battle is Evil against Good. As we all know that God works Good to all who believe in him, but we are going to be persecuted as scripture says. John 15:18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. and Luke 6:22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. May God intervene on your behalf as he is working always to bring about his Will. We [here in Canada] love you and may we stay strong as we hear your stories that bring us strength through God and help us to keep praying even in good times.
I want to lift my voice with those others who intercede for the persecuted churches all over the globe. I plead the blood of Jesus over every Pastor and every member of the churches who continue to be in harms way. I ask for God's mercy and grace to surround each one and bring peace to every area where there is injustice and evil. We command an end to violence and hatred. We declare and decree that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We send special prayers for those who are imprisoned, being threatened with unjust expulsion or destruction. or who have been injured. And we give you thanks dear Lord that you hear our prayers and have given us the Holy Spirit and power to concur each and every enemy of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not by our power or might - but by your Spirit....and He is greater than all the power of the enemy. We decree this - and is it DONE.
Amen and Amen Carolynne
Father in heaven, I lift up my fellow believers in North Vietnam today. I pray that they will be strengthened in their spirit, soul and body; in their spirit for their faith to increase, in their soul, that hope will grow, in their body, that they would receive comfort and healing. May they know the closeness of your presence with them and take courage in your everlasting love. In Jesus name...
