Meet the Lance family from Roorkee – Eva, Mrs. Sadhana and Pearl. On Sunday, October 3rd, 2021, about 250 Hindu militants forced their way into the family’s church, destroying everything inside and brutally assaulting the worshippers. The Christian believers, who were not helped by the police, had charges filed against them, including that of robbery by an armed gang! Although the Indian Constitution guarantees every individual’s freedom of religion, religious minorities find themselves frequent victims of targeted violence. The Lance women continue to hold tightly on to their faith in Jesus Christ despite their circumstances.
