In this episode, we meet the wife and daughter of Dr. K. A. Swamy, a Christian man who was left in a nearly vegetative state after being attacked for distributing Bibles in the Indian city of Hyderabad. Although the attack, which was carried out by Hindu extremists in January of 2017, has devastated his family – not their faith in Jesus!
Dr. Swamy’s wife Sujatha shares about the challenges she has faced while caring for her husband, and the need for her to rely on the Lord for strength as she now raises her two daughters. In addition, she has learned the importance of forgiving her husband’s attackers for the pain they have caused her and her family.
Host Greg Musselman also reports on the recent death of an Indian pastor, Vinod Kumar, who was likely killed for his Christian activities.
