Nigeria: Massacre at Prayer Meeting

Ten people were gunned down and killed at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Gombe in northeastern Nigeria by members of Boko Haram, a militant Islamic group. More than 20 others were also injured in the massacre, which took place during an evening prayer meeting. The attack is a part of a growing trend to instill fear among Christians in the northern part of Africa’s most populous nation.
