North Korea: Trusting God’s Love in a Labour Camp
In January 2015, Toronto area pastor, Hyeon Soo Lim, was detained by North Korean authorities while on a charitable mission to the country's northern region. Later that year, he was convicted of attempting to subvert the authoritarian regime of Kim Jong Un and subsequently sentenced to life in a labour camp. Rev. Lim was recently released and arrived home in Canada on August 9, 2017, after spending two years and seven months in custody. Recently, he joined Lorna Dueck for an exclusive interview on 100 Huntley Street to tell his story and share of his unfaltering faith in God.
