Imprisoned in Sudan

In December 2015, Sudan’s National Intelligence Security Service (NISS) arrested Pastor Hassan on national security charges for providing aid to a persecuted Christian. Though he was sentenced to 12 years in prison in Sudan, he received a presidential pardon and was freed from prison in 2017.
