A mob violently attacked churches in Pakistan on August 16th and set fire to the homes of several believers following allegations of blasphemy against Christian residents. Thousands of militant Muslim men armed with sticks attacked townships in Jaranwala, Punjab, after two local Christians were accused of desecrating the Quran.
