An Islamic court in Jordan has once again postponed a final verdict in a custody battle which has been closely followed and reported in the P&P. According to a report by Compass Direct, the lawyers for Siham Qandah, a Christian widow fighting to retain custody of her children, requested a postponement until January 10, 2005. Qandah is uncertain of the reason, though it may be that the court has been unable to obtain the address or contact information of her Muslim brother who is fighting her for custody of the children.

Pray that this long battle will soon be over and that Siham will be allowed to retain custody of her children. Pray that Siham Qandah will continue to remain strong in her faith as she once again must wait for this issue to be resolved.
