Iraq: Escaping ISIS
Iraq: Escaping ISIS
The brutality of the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, has forced tens of thousands of Christians to flee from cities in Iraq with significant Christian populations, such as Mosul and Qaraqosh, during 2014. Most have come to Kurdistan (Iraq's northern autonomous Kurdish region), seeking safety and shelter. In this 15-minute video report, which was recorded on location by VOMC's Greg Musselman, you'll meet Aida whose three-year-old daughter was abducted by ISIS. You will also meet other Christians who were forced to leave their homes with nothing except their faith in God.
