Libya: The Dangers of Following Jesus
Once an active centre of Christianity during the days of the early church, the north African country of Libya is a country that is now known as an epicentre of the persecution of Christians that is so extreme, there are few believers today remaining in the country – but that is changing. Leaving Islam to follow Jesus in Libya can be very dangerous and could even mean imprisonment or death for those who convert to Christianity or encourage others to do the same. Greg Musselman of the The Voice of the Martyrs Canada met with two Libya Christians from Muslim backgrounds outside of the country.
